Alice Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Solinftec ("Solinftec", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use the Alice mobile application and related services (the "Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are

2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed through:
- Alice Android and iOS apps
- Alice backend APIs and cloud services used by the app
- AI/chat, telemetry, notification, and support features used in the app
It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.
3. Data We Collect
Depending on features you use, we may process the following categories.
3.1 Account and identity data
- Login/username
- Owner/account bucket
- Name, language, selected unit, and user permissions
- Authentication and session tokens
- Remembered login credentials if you choose "remember login"
3.2 Device, diagnostics, and usage data
- Device/app metadata (OS, app version, technical diagnostics)
- Crash and performance telemetry
- In-app analytics and event logs (for example: app open, login/logout, screen events, feature events)
- Feature flag and remote configuration values required to run app features
3.3 Notification data
- Push tokens (FCM/APNs)
- Notification topic subscriptions
- Notification payload metadata (for example equipment/unit identifiers, title/body, related action metadata, and linked data URLs)
3.4 Location and map data
- Precise and approximate location (when permission is granted)
- Coordinates and map points you create for navigation features
- Equipment location and telemetry information shown in the app
3.5 Camera, files, and media data
- Photos/camera captures and files you choose to upload (for example chat attachments and RTK calibration evidence)
- Image metadata included in uploaded content
3.6 Audio and speech data
- Microphone audio when you use voice features
- Speech transcripts generated from audio
- Audio generated from text for text-to-speech features
Important:
- Some speech features use external processing providers (for example OpenAI transcription and Apple/Google speech services, depending on platform/feature).
- The app attempts to delete local temporary recording files after transcription.
3.7 Chat and AI interaction data
- Chat prompts/questions and responses
- Conversation metadata (for example talk/session IDs, context, unit filters)
- Uploaded document URLs used in chat workflows
3.8 Local network discovery data
- Local network service discovery data (for example service name, host/address, port, TXT metadata) used to find compatible devices on your local network
4. How We Use Data
We process personal data to:
- Authenticate users and maintain sessions
- Process chat/AI and voice features
- Send and manage operational notifications
- Detect/prevent errors, abuse, and security incidents
- Monitor and improve reliability, performance, and product quality
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce legal rights
5. Legal Bases (where applicable)
Depending on your jurisdiction (including LGPD/GDPR), we rely on one or more of:
- Performance of contract (providing requested features)
- Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement)
- Consent (where required, including certain permissions/notifications)
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Exercise or defense of legal claims
You can withdraw consent-based permissions through device settings, but some features may stop working.
6. How We Share Data
We may share data with:
- Solinftec group companies/affiliates as needed to operate the Service
- Infrastructure, analytics, crash, messaging, and support vendors
- AI/speech processing providers used by enabled features
- Mapping/geolocation and platform services
- Professional advisors, auditors, regulators, or authorities when legally required
Current provider categories include (as implemented by app features):
- Google Firebase services (analytics, crash/performance, messaging, remote config, installations/app check)
- OpenAI APIs for configured AI audio processing features
- Apple and Google platform speech services when you use platform speech recognition
We do not sell personal data for money. We also do not use personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising in the app.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we apply appropriate safeguards (for example contractual safeguards and vendor security controls).
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy, including legal, accounting, and security needs.
General retention principles:
- Account and operational data: retained while your organization uses the Service and for follow-up legal/operational periods
- Diagnostics/security logs: retained for limited periods needed for reliability and security
- Notification and chat-related records: retained for product operation/history and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed
- Temporary voice recording files on device: deleted after transcription flow completes
Exact retention may vary by data type, feature, and legal obligations.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted storage mechanisms on supported platforms and access controls. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Access your data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete data
- Port data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent
- Request information about how data is used/disclosed
- Appeal certain decisions (where applicable)

- Brazil (LGPD): rights under Article 18 are supported through request channels.
- EEA/UK (GDPR): you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- US state laws (where applicable): we honor valid access/deletion/correction and related rights.
11. Children
The Service is intended for business/professional use and is not directed to children under 13 (or higher minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at:
